THE MEMBERSHIP STATUS OF MINORS

All persons applying for church membership who are legally minors, having presented a credible profession of faith, and are approved by the Elders for Believers’ Baptism, shall be admitted as Associate members upon a majority vote of the church. Those admitted as Associate members after their baptism will be permitted to join the Lord’s Table and generally participate in all aspects of the life of the church. However, Associate Members may not vote on church decisions. Associate Membership will expire when those who are minors reach the legal age of majority, requiring such persons to apply for regular church membership and go through the process of making a covenant with the church as an adult.
